Autumn at Allaire- November 6, 2021

Postby Ramsfan1 » Tue Oct 26, 2021 6:59 pm

Hello, all Autumn at Allaire players! Below are some important day-of procedures and happenings that all players should be aware of. PLEASE READ!

Registration is between 8:00-8:45. PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE before 7:30. We need to set up for the event and position our club members around the parking lot. Early arrivals complicate this process. Please don't arrive early. We will once again have the overflow parking lot available across the street, but carpooling is always welcomed when possible. Waitlisted players will be contacted by Lou the day before the event. There will be no day-of registration.

We will have a tent/tables set up where players will check in and pick up their player packs and also have our merchandise tables set up. Though we are all tired of Covid, we do expect responsible distancing and limited numbers in the tournament-central area. This is non-negotiable.

We will offer all participants the option of purchasing a lunch from Bruno's Restaurant and Pizzeria during check-in. We will also have a raffle for a variety of nice discs, various merchandise and a new GRIP EQ Bag. Tickets will be 3 for $5 or 10 for $10. The club also plans to sell grab bags of 3 barely used or nearly new discs. Each bag is $20 and you are guaranteed at least one premium plastic disc (many have two!).

We hope to have a Porta-Potty on site for the event but make no promises. One day rentals are very expensive, and the park does not want a porta potty on site for more than a weekend. There are very clean bathrooms at the visitors center down the street that will be open to the public.

Lunch will be 1 hour after the last card is turned in from the first round. The CJDGC staff reserves the right to adjust this a bit to ensure darkness doesn't inhibit our ability to complete the 2nd round and awards.

Please contact TD Lou Garcia or Asst. TD Frank Gualtieri with questions about the event. We look forward to a great day with everyone!
